Dorothy is a watercolour portrait artist who has
developed her own unique style of painting. Although she has had no formal training, Dorothy's talent for capturing a likeness is undoubted. Only one in 25 watercolour artists can paint portraits of people with any kind of success. She only started painting portraits at the age of 52. It may have been a bit of a late start but she is already selling her work internationally. Dorothy works mainly with Windsor & Newton artist watercolours because they are recognised for their vibrant colours and their resistance to fading over time. She takes commissions for her work which is very reasonably priced.
