ABOUT

Rosabelle was born in Malaysia in 1959 and emigrated to Australia in 1977. She attended the Western Australian Institute of Technology (now Curtin University) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical technology.

For 16 years she worked for the State Health Laboratory Service (now Pathcentre) before deciding to make a life changing decision in 1997 when she and her husband Marc embarked on what turned out to be an 11 year journey around Australia.

In 2008 Rosabelle was reunited with her identical twin sister Dorothy Loader after a separation of almost 50 years. The twins were adopted by separate families and lost touch until the ABCTV Program Can We Help? reunited the twins on September 27th 2008.

Like Rosabelle, Dorothy is also interested in art and even though she only started painting in watercolours in 2010, she is rapidly developing into a skilled portrait artist.
