General Emergency Perth Telephone Number is 000
for fire, ambulance and police
It can be called from any fixed or mobile phone and certain VoIP services.
This number is ONLY for a life or property threatening time-critical emergency situation
106 is the text-based Emergency Call Service number for people who are deaf, or who have a hearing or speech impairment. This service operates using a teletypewriter (TTY) but does not accept voice calls or SMS messages.
Emergency call service - International standard
112 is the international standard emergency number which can only be dialed on an Australian carrier digital mobile phone.
For overseas or interstate callers the international number for Australia is +61 and the area code for W.A. is 08. Callers from overseas should omit the 0 in 08.
Numbers beginning with 1300 and 1800 and the 132 500 number for SES assistance are not available through all satellite phone service providers. Contact your service provider for more information.
