Located in the shire of West Arthur, Lake Towerrinning is an important recreational facility that includes a campsite.

The lake is slightly brackish and at one time it was only semi-permemant. After work done to redirect water flow during winter the lake is now perennial. The redirection of water has so far, prevented the lake from turning salty.

Facilities at the lake include a boat ramp, showers, toilets, playground, BBQ, day use picnic area and change rooms.

To book a campsite at the lake Ph: 9863 1195 or Mobile: 0419 765 196 or Email lakesidecamping@westnet.com.au.

Lake Towerrinning is an "A Class" Nature Reserve as it is an important wildlife refuge. 128 bird species are known to inhabit the area around the lake and a number of reptile species have also been recorded. 14 species of frog also call the lake home.

The lake is close to the Arthur River but does not connect with it. Instead it is part of the catchment are for the Blackwood River that flows down to the sea at Augusta.
