In the centennial year various experts did some star gazing about what they thought the population would be at the end of the next hundred years (Ie. in 2029). Estimates varied wildly from a total population (of Australia) between 50 and 200 million. Some predicted that the population would be around 20 million with W.A. having between 3-4 million when this figure was reached. |
