DIRECTIONS : West from Albany on Lower Denmark Rd, south into Cosy Corner Rd., west into Coombes Rd., south into Shelly Beach Rd.
NOTES : This is a National Park. Probably the most scenic campsite on this part of the coast but no access for big rigs. DPaW administered site. Check access FIRST if you intend to go to this site with a caravan. We have seen a 14 foot van down there but wouldn't try it ourselves. STEEP DESCENT and no room for 2 vehicles on parts of the road. A popular place for hang gliders.

DIRECTIONS : West from Albany on Lower Denmark Rd, south into Cosy Corner Rd. Look for sign to unsealed road on the left.
NOTES : This site is better suited to campervans, camper trailers etc. as there isn't a lot of room. (Note: Surfie types hang out here.) 1 week limit.

SITE NAME : Lowlands Beach

DIRECTIONS : Lower Denmark Road. / Tennessee South Road.
NOTES : Lookout area (pictured) is big enough for a small-medium sized van or two and the lower area would be Ok for a campervan but don't crowd out the locals as space here is limited. Unauthorised site.

Lowlands Beach

SITE NAME : Torbay Inlet West
GPS REF : 35 02 20 S 117 40 39 E
DIRECTIONS : Head west from Albany along the Lower Denmark Road. Turn left (south) into Perkins Beach. Road, (gravel) then take the next left (east). This leads to the inlet.
NOTES : Access via a an unsealed road with one or two boggy patches. Limited space (2-3 vans). A nice campsite by the inlet. Because this site is close to town it can attract the wrong sort of camper. 1 week limit.

SITE NAME : Torbay Inlet East

DIRECTIONS : Lower Denmark Road. / Elleker - Grasmere Road. / Mutton Bird Road. / Torbay Road. (Unsealed)
NOTES : 4x4 and tenting only. Take care near the end of the 2wd section of this road as it narrows as it goes down a hill. Beach launching of boats possible.

DIRECTIONS : Follow Lower King Road out to Gull Rock Road. Where the road turns to gravel the first right hand turn goes to Ledge Beach. Keep straight on for Gull Rock
NOTES : Signed 'No camping' but some people still stop overnight.

SITE NAME : East Bay (Two Peoples Bay)
GPS REF : 34 56 16.80 S 118 10 46.87 E
DIRECTIONS : South Coast Highway. 38Km east of Albany. T/O on to Homestead Road. Betty's Beach is left at a Y intersection and East Bay is to the right.
NOTES : Very nice spot, steep descent. This site has a 'No Caravans' sign on it again. The area has been up graded and is smaller with no turn around area for caravans. Great still for tents and small motorhomes. Betty's Beach is still ok and they have even put in new toilets including a disabled one. - Thanks to Jan for the info. Roads are mostly unsealed and the condition varies from good to very rough depending on how long ago they were graded.
