This is a list of Western Australian National Parks, regional parks, nature reserves and other interesting natural attractions. Some pages are accessible from other pages in this guide but some are only accessible from this page. Some parks we are yet to collect information on and these are named here but there is no link to another page.

There are now more than 60 gazetted National Parks in W.A. They are administered by CALM (now known as DEC) which seems to see it as its main priority to squeeze as much money out of the public as it possibly can and provide roads that will shake your car to pieces.

Dogs are prohibited in national parks, and fees are generally charged for entry. Fees range from $10 to $20, and additional fees may be payable on a nightly basis if you intend to camp.

Many national parks and marine parks have rules that are specific to their location. Please read the signs and obey them.

Considering the poor roads that have always been a feature of National Parks in W.A. we feel that fees for entry are too high. $5 is more than enough as an entrance fee. The term National Park is also a misnomer as each state administers it's own parks and park passes for one state are not valid in the parks of another.
