This is a list of Western Australian National Parks, regional parks, nature reserves and other interesting natural attractions. Some pages are accessible from other pages in this guide but some are only
accessible from this page. Some parks we are yet to collect information on and these are named here but there is no link to another page.
There are now more than 60 gazetted National Parks in W.A. They are administered by CALM / DPaW.
Pets are prohibited in almost all national parks.
Many national parks and marine parks have rules that are specific to their location. Please read the signs and obey them.
The term National Park seems to be a misnomer, as each state administers it's own parks and park passes for one state are not valid in the parks of another.
NATIONAL PARK PASSES
Visitor fees apply in most National Parks. If you intend to visit a number of parks in W.A. then a holiday pass that covers entry to all parks for a 4 week period may save you some money. If you are
travelling longer term then an annual all parks pass is a second option. Separate fees apply for camping in National Parks.
